Winch straps are tie downs used to secure a load for transport on a flatbed trailer.  These straps use tension to hold the cargo in place which is applied using winches on either side of the flatbed. The straps are often made of polyester webbing which is weather resistant and soft enough to avoid damage to the cargo being transported.
