Bed Capacities & Dimensions
Bed capacities reveal what’s behind the name of our car carrier series. The 10 Series can haul up to 10,000 lbs., 12 Series up to 12,000 lbs. and the 16 Series up to 16,000 lbs. Makes sense, doesn’t it? Bed dimensions also vary by model.
Widths are either 96” or 102” and lengths start at 19’ and go up to 26’. In either case, we have the capacity and surface area to handle any load.
Important: All ratings are based on structural factors only, not vehicle capacities or capabilities. Specifications shown are approximations and may vary depending on chassis selected. Miller Industries Towing Equipment Inc. reserves the right to change or modify product and/or specifications without notice or obligation. Some equipment shown is optional.
Bed Capacities
10,000 lbs.
The standard bed capacity of the 10 Series carrier is 10,000 lbs. The average vehicle in the U.S. weighs roughly 3,600 lbs so this bed is designed to handle any auto, SUV, or pickup truck on the road.
Bed
Capacities
12,000 lbs.
The optional bed capacity upgrade of the 10 Series carrier is 12,000 lbs. This upgrade is perfect for the operator who intends to haul larger equipment or heavier pick-up type utility vehicles.
Bed Lengths & Widths
96" Wide
The standard bed width of the 10 Series carrier is 96” wide. The standard auto or pick-up truck fits between the side rails with no problems; however, to accommodate a “dually” pick-up, the rear sections of the side rails need to be removed. The standard narrow width is great when negotiating tight parking lots, narrow alleyways, or residential driveways.
102" Wide
You have the option to upgrade the width of the 10 Series bed to 102” Wide. This width will accept a dually pick-up without the need to remove the side rails. Also great for hauling larger or odd shaped cargo and equipment.

Steel Bed Construction & Options
The 10 Series Steel Bed Construction is a durable and popular selection for hauling vehicles and equipment. If you are frequently hauling wrecked vehicles, cars without tires, or heavy, concentrated loads then the steel option is right for you. Check
out the design and features that make the Steel 10 series what it is - along with endless upgrades to consider.
Steel Bed Flooring
The standard steel floor is constructed of heavy duty diamond plate sheeting with a thickness of 3/16”. All 10 Series car carriers are built using one solid sheet of steel. The competition uses multiple sheets, welded together with seams. The majority of the steel carrier beds Zip’s AW Direct stocks in inventory has the standard diamond plate flooring.
Steel Bed Flooring
3/16" Smooth Floor
An optional smooth floor finish is available at no charge.
1/4" Diamond Plate Floor
Increase the lifespan and durability of your car carrier by upgrading to the 1/4" thick diamond plate floor - a 33% increase over the standard 3/16" sheeting. Perfect when hauling heavier equipment or concentrated loads.
Apitong Wood Floor
The wood floor is a great upgrade when hauling equipment with steel tracks. If you damage a board - simply replace it!
Cross Members
As standard, the 10 Series has a cross member spacing of 8” on center. When compared to the competition, a 21ft Miller bed has an equivalent to 10 more cross members. With proper usage this eliminates the “washboard” effect commonly seen with competitive bed designs.
The cross members are constructed of a four-sided, 2”x2” Corten Steel Tube. Corten steel is a steel alloy that has a very high tensile strength of 50 ksi which is at least 8% stronger than general-use steel tubing and has a higher resistance to corrosion.
Bed Approach
Standard Approach Plate
The standard approach plate has a fixed approach and is level with the main deck. The knife tip approach design allows for a clean approach and low load angle. All approach options include 5 key slots providing versatile tie-down possibilities.
Bed Approach
Roller Tip
This option is fabricated into the standard approach plate and acts as a guide to minimize the scraping of the tail of the bed along the concrete or asphalt.
Dual Angle SST
The Dual Angle SST (Solid Sloped Tail), not available in Chevron, is a handy option when loading vehicles with low ground clearance. The SST reduces the load angle by 3.5 degrees - no need for ramps! *NOTE: Only available with aluminum removable blade side rails
LoadRite
Available only in Chevron, this upgrade is very similar to the Dual Angle SST and is also a handy option when loading vehicles with low ground clearance and reduces the load angle by 3.5 degrees. The LoadRite option offers side rails with key slots incorporated into the inside vertical edge - offering ample tie-down anchor placement the length of the deck. *NOTE: Only available with aluminum removable blade side rails.
Right Approach | Extreme Angle
The Right Approach (also known as the Extreme Angle when ordered as a Vulcan) provides the premium system for loading high- end luxury vehicles with low ground clearance. The Right Approach™ allows the operator to lower the approach angle of the deck to only 6°, making the use of ramps or wood planks obsolete. This one-of-a-kind option provides you with the versatility of having a straight carrier deck with the added benefit of an angled approach plate - when you need it! The perfect bed option if you’re transporting exotic or low clearance vehicles. *NOTE: Not Available in a Chevron.
1). Upon the bed moving out of the locks, the rear 5ft section automatically hinges and begins to lower - to only a 6° load angle!
2). A cable guide can be inserted in the deck to keep the cable low while winching the vehicle onto the rear deck.
3). After the vehicle's front wheels are on the carrier, the deck can be leveled out and the cable guide removed allowing the vehicle to overcome the second clearance problem with the forward section of the deck.
4). With the front wheels on the main section of the deck the process can be repeated again to eliminate clearance problems on vehicles with low exhaust or extended rear overhangs.
Side Rails
Formed Side Rails
The standard approach plate has a fixed approach and is level with the main deck. The knife tip approach design allows for a clean approach and low load angle. All approach options include 5 key slots providing versatile tie-down possibilities
Side Rails
Select from three side rail upgrades that meet your needs or the look you are wanting.
Fixed Steel Tube Sides
This no charge optional side rail is a fixed steel tube side that is 2” wide and 6” tall. This rail is very durable but does not allow the flexibility of removing the rails to accommodate side loading with a fork lift or maximizing the complete width of the deck.
Removable Steel Tube Side Rails
This steel side rail upgrade comes in a 3-piece set which is designed to be removed. This allows for the flexibility to load cargo from the side with a forklift or accommodate a wider dually pick-up.
Removable Aluminum Blade Rails
This aluminum side rail upgrade comes in a 3-piece set which is designed to be removed. This allows for the flexibility to load cargo from the side with a forklift or accommodate a wider dually pick-up. This sleek looking rail maximizes the space between the rails due to it’s thin design. Don’t let the thin design scare you - it’s very strong!
Chain Lock Packages
11 Chain Lock Package - Deck Centered
The Steel 10 Series deck comes with the standard 5 chain locks on the approach plate plus 6 additional chain locks. The key slot placement with this standard package is perfect for securing the majority of automotive vehicles on the road by using a 4 or 8 point tie down strap system.
Chain Lock Packages
15 Cain Lock Package - Deck Centered
This option comes with the standard 5 chain locks on the approach plate plus 10 additional chain locks.
17 Cain Lock Package
This option comes with the standard 5 chain locks on the approach plate plus 12 additional chain locks.
Custom Chain Locks
When the available chain lock packages aren’t what you're looking for, custom chain lock placement is available. If you have a custom piece of equipment you are frequently hauling and need an anchor point(s) just in the right spot, simply let us know the exact location they are needed and we can make it happen!
Under Body
Under Body Tie Down Bar
This upgrade offers a Flat bar that is welded to the underside of the bed providing an attachment point for tie-down straps with paddle or wire hooks. This option is a must if you plan on hauling cargo. *NOTE: All of Zip’s stock steel beds on inventory will have this upgraded option.
Chain Baskets
This is a great upgrade to consider when ordering a bed with key slots/chain lock tie-down anchors. These baskets eliminate the chance of access chain falling below the bed which could get caught and cause damage. The key slots come prepared for the baskets so they can be installed at any time after the bed is made. *NOTE: The baskets are not designed to be installed on the key slots located on the approach plate.
Front Chain Trays
The front chain trays offer ample space for your safety chain storage. The recessed design allows for not only the chain storage but provides room for safety cone storage. Drainage holes are included which makes keeping your chains a tray easy.
The safety chains are standard on the 10 Series Carrier and come with a hardware cluster on one end and is secured with a nut and bolt. A weld-on chain hook is also included for length adjustment and securement purposes.
Paint
Miller Standard
The steel 10 Series Car Carriers are painted black as standard by Miller Industries. All steel decks are media blasted and finished with a gloss top-coat.
Paint
If you're wanting to stand out from the rest by utilizing your company colors, we have options for your consideration!
Miller Options
There are additional colors available as an optional upgrade from Miller Industries.
Zip’s AW Direct
Zip’s AW Direct offers custom colors with an in-house premium paint upgrade. For a better quality paint process, select your custom color and have your carrier deck painted by the best at Zip’s!
Aluminum Bed Construction & Options
For those living in the rust belt or hauling for dealerships, the Aluminum Deck is a great alternative over the steel construction. The superior design of the aluminum deck provides great durability, looks great and won’t rust! Yes, aluminum
is a softer material than steel so it will show scrapes from dragging vehicles without tires or wheels; however, scrapes or gauges are only superficial and not structural damage. Structural damage has only been seen from being repeatedly abused
or punctured from something heavy dropping on it.
Aluminum Bed Flooring
Standard Aluminum Floor
The standard aluminum floor is constructed of extruded aluminum panels with ribbed flooring. Zip’s carries a significant amount of aluminum beds on inventory.
Cross Members
As standard, the 10 Series Aluminum deck has a cross member spacing of 4” on center. With almost twice as many crossmembers than the steel deck you can be confident in the durability of the aluminum construction and the aluminum deck still weighs significantly less than steel!
Bed Approach
Standard Approach Plate
The standard approach plate has a fixed approach and is level with the main deck. The approach design allows for a clean approach and low load angle. All aluminum bed approach options include 4 key slots providing versatile tie-down possibilities.
Bed Approach
Roller Tip
This option is fabricated into the standard approach plate and acts as a guide to minimize the scraping of the tail of the bed along the concrete or asphalt and protects the bed from damage.
Dual Angle SST
The Dual Angle SST (Solid Sloped Tail), not available in Chevron, is a handy option when loading vehicles with low ground clearance. The SST reduces the load angle by 3.5 degrees - no need for ramps! *Only available
with aluminum removable blade side rails. *NOTE: Only available with aluminum removable blade side rails
LoadRite
Available only in Chevron, this upgrade is similar to the Dual Angle SST and is also a handy option when loading vehicles with low ground clearance and reduces the load angle by 3.5 degrees. When ordering the LoadRite option the side rails include key slots all along the inside edge - offering ample tie-down anchor placement. *NOTE: Only available with aluminum removable blade side rails.
Side Rails
Bi-Hollow Raised Side Rail
The standard bed side rail on the aluminum bed is the Bi-Hollow Raised side rail. Each brand style rail has it’s own look; however, the structural design is the same. The standard aluminum side rail has a polished finish with ample surface area to post your company logo, web address or phone number. It also easily accommodates the drilling of holes for installation of larger flush mounted marker lights - without the cross-members getting in the way.
Side Rails
Solid Raised Side Rails
This no charge option gives your truck the sleek polished look.
Floor Level Side Rails with Stake Pockets
This side rail upgrade includes punched stake pockets that is designed to accommodate all the upgraded side rail options if you decide to add them at a later time. Also, with the absence of the raised rail, loading cargo or wrecked vehicles from the side of the bed with a forklift is a cinch!
Removable Steel Tube Side Rails
This steel tube side rail upgrade comes in a 3-piece set which is designed to be removed. This allows for the flexibility to load cargo from the side with a forklift or accommodates a wider dually pick-up.
Removable Aluminum Blade Rails
This aluminum side rail upgrade comes in a 3-piece set which is designed to be removed. This allows for the flexibility to load cargo from the side with a forklift or accommodates a wider dually pick-up. This sleek looking rail maximizes the space between the rails due to it’s thin design. Don’t let the thin design scare you - it’s very strong!
Chain Lock Packages
10 Chain Lock Package - Deck Centered
The Aluminum 10 Series deck comes with the standard 4 chain locks on the approach plate plus 6 additional chain locks.
Chain Lock Packages

16 Chain Lock Package
This option comes with the standard 4 chain locks on the approach plate plus 12 additional chain locks.
Like on the steel bed, an optional flat tie down bar is welded to the underside of the bed. This allows for an attachment point when hauling equipment or cargo.
Cargo Strap Kit
Alternatively, you can simply order a cargo strap kit that is designed to fit in-between the aluminium cross members.
Wheel Lift Design & Options

• Large Thrust Area
• Thick Pivot Plates with Large Surface Area
• Built-in Universal Ball Hitch Receiver.
Wheel Lift Capacities
• 3,000 lb. Capacity at Full Extension
• 7,500 lb. Tow Rating
Wheel Lift Designs
Combination Wheel Lift | Dock Stabilizer
If you often use your car carrier for recovery, the Dock Stabilizer feature can act as an anchor and can accommodate an optional anchor spade. This upgraded option offers the same features and benefits as the standard conventional wheel lift but includes the addition of a Dock Stabilizer. This allows for a more stable, larger platform when raising the bed to a dock height level. If you often use your car carrier for recovery, the Dock Stabilizer feature can act as an anchor and can accommodate an optional anchor spade.
AutoGrip II Wheel Lift
Save time and make it easy with this fully hydraulic self-loading wheel lift system - no manual -arms needed! The hydraulic claws collapse 180°which provides a number of benefits: Brings the overhang tighter to the tailboard so the l-arms are not sticking out behind the truck when unused. Accomodates smaller wheels, flat tires or even missing wheels to maintain the proper tension on the vehicle against the crossbar. *Note: to accommodate larger wheels and tires simply remove the spacers on the crossbar. Allows the opportunity to use as a towbar when necessary.
Hydraulic Stabilizer with Extendable Pintle Hook
Utilizing the same stinger as the conventional wheel lift, this option is great for the unconventional towing operator that hauls trailers, generators, etc. • The hydraulic up/down and in/out of the stinger allows for easier trailer hook-up when on uneven terrain or on trailers with variable tongue heights or lengths.
Wheel Lift Ready
If you’re looking to tow just one vehicle at a time, than this is a more economical option for you. • With this option, the bed is prepared for a wheel lift with the hydraulics plumbed and controls equipped - assuming a wheel lift will be added at a later date. • Great when looking to trade it back in or sell to a third party. • This option excludes all wheel-lift related items including: outer tube, lift cylinders, extend cylinder, counterbalance valve for lift, mounting pins, crossbar, wheel grids, l-arms, l-arm storage brackets and tie-down straps.
Fixed Position Stabilizer with Reese Receiver
This available option is perfect for the equipment hauler that is looking to haul a trailer - you save money too! • The fixed tailboard offers a universal Reese Receiver that can accommodate a variety of trailer attachments.
Combination AutoGrip II Wheel Lift | Dock Stabilizer
Wheel Lift Retainer Systems
We understand that every operator has their own way of loading a car on a wheel lift - which is why we offer a selection of 4 wheel lift hook-up styles. Selecting these wheel lift retainers (also known as slide trays or wheel grids) is only a relevant option when using the Conventional Wheel Lift or the Combination Wheel Lift | Dock Stabilizer.
Slide in Steel Tube L-Arms
• Available Upgrade: Extended Slide In Steel Tube L-Arms
• Lasso Style Strap & Ratchet Securement
• The majority of the beds Zip’s AW Direct stocks has the standard slide in steel tube l-arms; however, they can easily be swapped upon request with your order.
Wheel Lift Retainer Systems
"Century" Style 3-Way Pivot L-Arms
• Lightweight Aluminum L-arm Construction • Includes 3 positions for L-arm placement to get maximum contact with the tire - great for broken tie- rods. • Basket Strap Securement with 2 attachments points for small and larger tires.
"Vulcan" Style Scoops
• Save hook-up time with the only “strapless” wheel lift system in the industry. • Easy to load with swing-in operation to get the scoop behind the tire. A lock pin keeps the arm in place. • The scoop has several holes for better traction to the tire and includes an outside lip to help hold the tire in place. • A front retainer pin is designed to place ahead of the tire for additional securement and includes an ergonomically friendly handle.
"Chevron" Style Steel Tube Drop-in L-Arms
• Includes an aluminum wheel pan that allows for more contact surface to the tire when towing the vehicle. If you have clearance issues simply remove the wheel pan and use the original l-arm tube. • Lasso Style Strap & Ratchet Securement
Anti-Theft L-Arm Storage
The Anti-theft L-arm Storage is available when selecting any of the four wheel retainer options. This feature prevents the removal of the L-arm until the wheel lift is lowered - which can only be done when the truck is operational. The storage brackets are conveniently located for quick and ergonomically friendly access.
Winch Design & Options
Winches get the job done. They do the heavy pulling and get disabled vehicles and equipment up on a flatbed in no time. Our car carriers come standard with the 8,000-lb. Ramsey “Sierra Planetary” winch, but other models and upgrades are
available, including traditional worm-driven units and side-winders. Choose what’s best for your application.
8,000 lbs. Ramsey "Sierra Planetary"
New in 2018, this exclusive standard planetary winch from Ramsey has been rigorously tested for durability and speed. With line speed of 48ft per minute, the Sierra planetary drive will be faster than the worm gear you may be accustomed to which allows for quicker and safer operation on the roadside.
• The majority of Zip’s stock steel beds on inventory will have this standard winch option.
• Comes with a standard ⅜" x 50ft steel winch line with a standard swivel hook. It is very common on this winch to upgrade to a ⅜” x 75ft wire rope or synthetic winch line. It is not recommended to put 100ft on this drum.
• The 8,000# Ramsey Sierra Planetary Winch comes standard with a 2-Year Warranty.
Winch Options
8,000 lbs. Ramsey Worm Gear
Historically, this worm gear winch by Ramsey was the go-to standard work horse for decades. You can still request this option at no additional charge.
• Comes with a standard ⅜” x 50ft steel winch line with a standard swivel hook. It is very common on this winch to upgrade to a ⅜” x 75ft wire rope or synthetic winch line. It is not recommended to put 100ft on this drum.
9,000 lbs. Warn Planetary
For those that prefer the Warn winch brand over the Ramsey, this is an upgrade for you. However, keep in mind that a bed utilizing the 9,000 lb. Warn winch will need to be special ordered as none of the Zip’s stock beds have this option. • Comes with a standard ⅜” x 50ft steel winch line with a standard swivel hook. It is very common on this winch to upgrade to a ⅜” x 75ft wire rope or synthetic winch line. It is not recommended to put 100ft on this drum.
12,000 lbs. Warn Planetary
If you’re in need of a little extra pulling capacity this 12,000 lb. capacity Warn Planetary will do. It’s a great upgrade if you frequently haul heavier equipment such as large forklifts or heavier pick-up style utility trucks.
12,000 lbs. Come-Up Planetary
The 12,000 lb. Come-Up branded planetary winch is proprietary to Miller Industries. This is a great alternative to the 12,000 lb. Warn branded planetary winch.
Slide Winder Winch System
The Slide Winder winch system was designed to provide a more versatile winching operation for loading foreign or luxury vehicles along with disabled vehicles with flat tires or missing wheels. Instead of the
winch being installed in the center of the deck, it is installed on the driver side of the bed. The winch line is then ran through an adjustable pulley that has the ability to slide back and forth. The numerous placement settings allows the winch to pull
directly in line with the tow eyelet in the front bumpers. Also, position the pulley all the way on either side of the bed to redirect a vehicle that is pulling one way or the other. • Available on both Steel & Aluminum decks •
Only available with the 9,000 lb Warn Planetary Winch • Requires a Stationary or Frame Mounted Pylon
Short Track Slide Winder
The Short Track Slide Winder is an option for those operators that want the pylon to be mounted on the main carrier deck. The winch and sliding mechanism is designed on a shorter platform to fit within the width of the deck mounted pylon.
Sub-Frame Design & Options
Longest sub-frame in the Industry for better bed support, increased durability and equipment longevity.
Available in a Painted or Optional Galvanized Finish
Factory Black Paint
Optional Zip’s Custom Colors Available
The galvanized sub-frame upgrade is a must when purchasing a car carrier where salt is used on the roads in winter conditions. Also, if you are planning on keeping your truck for many years, the galvanized option increases the life and fresh look of your truck since it’s a rust inhibitor. Increases resale value too!

Steel Bed Construction & Options
The 12 Series Steel Bed Construction is a durable and popular selection for hauling vehicles and equipment.

"Vulcan" Style Scoops
"Chevron" Style Steel Tube Drop-in L-Arms

The 12,000 lb. Come-Up branded planetary winch is proprietary to Miller Industries. This is a great alternative to the 12,000 lb. Warn branded planetary winch.
12,000 lbs. DP Planetary
For the premium of winch upgrades this 12,000 Lbs capacity planetary winch from DP is the ticket. New in 2020, this optional upgrade will get the job done when you need it.
Low Center of Gravity (LCG) Sub-Frame Design & Options
The Low Center of Gravity car carrier, also known as “The LCG”, is second to none in the automotive towing industry. Only available under the Miller brands, the LCG is a patented car carrier design offering the lowest load angle,
bed height and dump angle in the industry. Due to the proprietary design, competitive manufacturers cannot achieve the low load angles and low bed heights the LCG provides. The LCG is simply the best car carrier money can buy!
The Lowest Load Angle
On most trucks equipped with an air-ride suspension, the 12 Series LCG achieves a load angle under 11° - the lowest in the industry! For the optimal load angle, simply slide the bed back out of the bed locks, tilt the bed up and dump the air in the suspension. This low load angle makes the LCG 12 Series rollback ideal when loading luxury vehicles with low clearance bumpers, valences, spoilers and exhaust systems - all without the use of wood blocks or ramps. The low load angle of the 12 Series LCG is also perfect for construction equipment and forklifts with low ground clearance.
The Lowest Bed Height
The Low Center of Gravity bed is just that...LOW! When in the stored position, the LCG car carrier has a deck height of 5 to 6 inches lower than the competition. Achieving a lower deck height offers many benefits…
Allows for the transport of taller loads such as van bodies, forklifts or manlifts that may be over-height on a conventional car carrier.
Provides better stability while driving since the load is that much lower to the ground. You can be more confident when making turns or banking a sweeping curve on the road.
It’s safer too! The low deck height provides ergonomically friendly access when securing a vehicle or piece of equipment to the deck. Even the shortest of operators can more easily secure loads or tie-down vehicles completely from the ground. No more risk of injury while climbing up or jumping off the bed to reach attachment points.
The Highest Dump Angle
Not only does the LCG provide the lowest load angle, it also offers the highest dump angle. With a dump degree of 18° - 20° on most trucks, the LCG makes it easier to unload wrecked vehicles, vehicles with locked brakes or in-op machinery. With the high dump angle, the LCG car carrier is also a great choice for the Auto Salvage Industry.
NOTE: Due to the lift cylinder placement, longer bed lengths will have a lower dump angle.
The Longest Sub-Frame
The 12 Series LCG design offers the longest sub-frame in the Industry. When compared to the leading competitor, the 12 Series LCG Subframe is 48” longer! This allows for better bed support, increased durability and equipment longevity. When loading and unloading a vehicle the more the steel or aluminum bed that is supported by the subframe, the less stress the bed incurs.

Control Station - 6 Spool Capable
The standard control station comes with 6 valve spools but only 5 spools are utilized and ready to work with control levers. These standard 5 controls operate (1) Bed Back/Forward (2) Bed Up/Down (3) Winch In/Out (4) Wheel Lift Out/In and (5) Wheel Lift Up/Down. The sixth spool is only utilized and work ready when the bed is ordered with the optional AutoGrip self-loading wheel lift and operates the Open & Close of the wheel lift arms.
Control Station - 9 Spool Capable
When ordering a car carrier knowing that a full function hydraulic side puller will be installed, the optional 9-spool valve is what is needed. In addition to the standard 6 spool functions, the 9 spool control valve includes side puller functions for the Left Stabilizer Leg, Right Stabilizer Leg and the Winch In/out.

Hydraulic Stabilizer
If you are strictly hauling equipment or cargo then the hydraulic stabilizer option is the upgrade for you. This is perfect when loading or unloading at the loading dock to get you to just the right approach height. Also great to stabilize the truck when loading heavy cargo or equipment from the sides. This option does come standard with a reese type receiver to tow a trailer.

Winch Design Options

12,000 lbs. DP Planetary
For the premium of winch upgrades this 12,000 Lbs capacity planetary winch from DP is the ticket. New in 2020, this optional upgrade will get the job done when you need it.
On most trucks equipped with an air-ride suspension, the 16 Series LCG achieves a load angle under 11° - the lowest in the industry! For the optimal load angle, simply slide the bed back out of the bed locks, tilt the bed up and dump the air in the suspension. This low load angle makes the LCG 16 Series rollback ideal when loading luxury vehicles with low clearance bumpers, valences, spoilers and exhaust systems - all without the use of wood blocks or ramps. The low load angle of the 16 Series LCG is also perfect for construction equipment and forklifts with low ground clearance.
The 16 Series LCG design offers the longest sub-frame in the Industry. When compared to the leading competitor, the 16 Series LCG Subframe is 48” longer! This allows for better bed support, increased durability and equipment longevity. When loading and unloading a vehicle the more the steel or aluminum bed that is supported by the subframe, the less stress the bed incurs.

Truck Chassis Recommendations
The 4-Car Carrier is designed to be installed on most class 7 cab chassis combinations. The International MV, Freightliner M2, Kenworth T370, Peterbilt 337 and Hino XL7 are all popular truck makes and models for the application. When hauling four cars at one time, the rear single axle is overweight, in most states. To avoid being overweight, Installing an air lift pusher axle is very common when purchasing a 4-Car Carrier. Installing them on full tandem rear axles is becoming more and more popular as well. Installing the pusher axle or buying a tandem axle truck, triggers the 12% federal excise tax on the chassis - the bed remains exempt.

Fixed Position Stabilizer with Reese Receiver
This available option is perfect for the equipment hauler that is looking to haul a trailer - you save money too! • The fixed tailboard offers a universal Reese Receiver that can accommodate a variety of trailer attachments.

Winch Design Options
Winches get the job done. They do the heavy pulling and get disabled vehicles and equipment up on a flatbed in no time. Our car carriers come standard with the 8,000-lb. Ramsey “Sierra Planetary” winch, but other models and upgrades are
available, including traditional worm-driven units and side-winders. Choose what’s best for your application.
(3) 8,000 lbs. Ramsey "Worm Gear"
The Conventional 4-Car Carrier comes standard with three winches - (2) on the main deck and (1) on the upper deck. The two on the main deck are installed in line for easy winching two vehicles on and off the deck.

Multi-Deck LCG 4-Car Carrier
Truck Chassis Recommendations
The 4-Car Carrier is designed to be installed on most class 7 cab chassis combinations. The International MV, Freightliner M2, Kenworth T370, Peterbilt 337 and Hino XL7 are all popular truck makes and models for the application. When hauling four cars at one time, the rear single axle is overweight, in most states. To avoid being overweight, Installing an air lift pusher axle is very common when purchasing a 4-Car Carrier. Installing them on full tandem rear axles is becoming more and more popular as well. Installing the pusher axle or buying a tandem axle truck triggers the 12% federal excise tax on the chassis - the bed remains exempt from FET.
