Under limited supervision, the mechanic position performs work of considerable
difficulty in the repair and maintenance of vehicles and equipment; performs related
work as assigned.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work under a crew leader performing tasks to get a job complete.
• Inspecting machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues.
• Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems.
• Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle into service.
• Participates in on-the-job training with onsite personnel.
• Prepares and maintains records and reports.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• 3-5 years of experience in related field preferred
• Working knowledge of hand tools, light metal fabrication (drilling, welding, forming)

This driving position responsibility includes the delivery of new and used trucks throughout the midwest and across the nation. Duties also include shuttling of trucks to meet with salespeople or customers and airport pick-ups of customers and Zip’s AW Direct employees. This position requires the proper loading, securing and unloading of vehicles on tow trucks. Must have a positive attitude, professional demeanor and the ability to adapt to changes quickly. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely deliver or shuttle tow trucks, people, parts, etc. 

• Complete pre-trip inspections of each vehicle and ensure the truck is current on DOT inspection before departure.

• Ensure the vehicle is equipped with the tools and straps needed to complete the delivery/pickup.

• Maintain clean vehicles at all times 

• Other duties as requested or assigned by the Logistics Coordinator

Qualifications

• Class A or Class B CDL required.

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

• Driving experience preferred.

• Working knowledge of DOT Regulations. 

• Truck mechanic skill or experience a plus

• Clean driving record for the last 5 years (exceptions)

Build the best tow trucks in the country! You will be responsible for building and installing wreckers and car carriers and other tasks assigned by management. This includes the installation, mounting, and wiring of body along with custom fabrication and general upfitting of equipment and accessories.  Must be able to work well with a teammate and crew leader and have an open mind for learning.

• Perform all safety and housekeeping duties
