Job Overview
Consumers are constantly changing their ways of communicating with companies while making purchasing decisions. Zip’s is in need of a Truck Equipment Sales Consultant that can manage existing clients and increase in these types of sales opportunities - conveying the value added Zip’s provides in a professional, prompt and dependable manner and convert these leads into long term sales relationships. This professional will collaborate closely with a leading sales professional, gaining insights into methods to enhance the development of existing relationships and actively pursue new business opportunities.
Position Details
- Become educated on all things Towing & Recovery including the industry as a whole and the specifics of each truck make, model and unique wrecker body features and options.
- Learn and understand each customer’s unique business model and needs, recommend and demonstrate the proper equipment to help position them for long-term success.
- Cultivate new relationships utilizing phone, text, email, social media, online chat inquiries and direct contact through trade shows and physical visits.
- Assist in managing Facebook sales leads and respond accordingly.
- Seek out sales opportunities with Spacekap utility body line, Industrial Carriers and Landoll Trailers in additional industries such as construction, agriculture and municipality.
Compensation
- Base plus commission structure with significant income opportunity for motivated, high-performing sales professionals.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a business-related field preferred.
- Demonstrated success in consultative, relationship-driven sales.
- Ability to relate effectively with a wide range of customer personalities and demographics.
- Consistently represent the company and oneself in a professional manner.
- Outgoing personality with a personable, customer-focused sales approach.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms, with a preference for HubSpot.
- Strong technical fluency across diverse platforms; must demonstrate accurate typing skills and polished written communication.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development through industry-specific training and continuing sales education.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required.
- Must successfully obtain and maintain a Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

Role Overview
The Chief Financial Officer will have a hands-on, day-to-day impact on company operations while maintaining a strategic, long-term perspective. This leader will guide financial planning, capital strategy, banking relationships, risk management, and reporting, ensuring the company is positioned to grow responsibly while navigating change.
As a member of the senior leadership team, the CFO must communicate clearly, earn trust across the organization, and work collaboratively with ownership and department leaders.
Key Objectives
The successful candidate will:
- Take responsibility, directly or through staff, for all cash management, banking relationships, capital planning, investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Partner with ownership to guide financial strategy, capital allocation, and long-term planning.
- Coordinate development of annual operating, capital, and program budgets, along with ongoing reporting and forecasting.
- Ensure cash flow supports day-to-day operations while maintaining appropriate controls and financial discipline.
- Develop and implement best practices that support a well-controlled yet adaptable and fluid organization, enabling growth without unnecessary bureaucracy.
- Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local financial requirements and proactively address regulatory changes.
- Develop a deep understanding of current and forecasted inventory levels across all business segments, including trucks, parts, apparel and accessories, and anticipate the capital required to support growth, expanded product offerings, and seasonal demand.
- Partner with leadership to evaluate capital needs associated with potential acquisitions, product line expansions, and strategic investments, particularly within the small product sales segment.
Responsibilities
This leader will:
- Work closely with senior managers to develop budgets, evaluate financial performance, and ensure transparency and accountability across departments.
- Analyze internal operations, revenue opportunities, and economic trends to identify areas for improvement, cost control, and strategic investment.
- Lead risk management efforts, including evaluation of liabilities, insurance coverage, and capital structure.
- Manage relationships with lenders, auditors, legal counsel, and other external financial partners.
- Oversee financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance with all applicable governmental and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare clear, actionable financial reporting for ownership, senior leadership, and the broader organization as appropriate.
- Lead and develop the administration team, ensuring systems, processes, and tools support accuracy, efficiency, and growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven executive-level financial leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and tax planning.
- Demonstrated integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to earn trust at all levels of an organization.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial matters clearly and practically.
- Experience managing growth, change, and evolving capital needs in a dynamic business environment.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent experience.
- CPA, CMA, or similar professional certification.
- Experience working with banks, investors, or other capital providers.
- Background in privately held, family-owned, or entrepreneurially driven organizations.
- Ability to build strong relationships within the finance team and across the executive leadership group.
