1/2" x 200' Fiber Core Winch Line, Self-Locking Swivel Hook

Wire Rope Winch Lines supplied by Western Sling are superior to most other winch lines found in the marketplace due to the hand splice and swage sleeve (Flemish eye) end terminations. Each eye is protected by a steel liner (thimble) to guard against premature bearing point eye wear. This cable assembly has a Self-Locking Swivel Hook. These hooks are operated by depressing the trigger which allows the hook to open. When a load is applied, these hooks "self-lock" and remain locked until the load is released and the trigger once again is pressed open. Fiber core cable offers greater flexibility, less wear on the sheave wheels, and provides a lubricant reservoir. When pressure is exerted on the working cable, the core gives off lubricant to minimize the wear of wire on wire - assuring longer service life. Each line is packaged in a heavy duty box (larger winch lines are also supplied on reels) which makes handling and shipping by UPS very convenient.
