SpillTech 5-Gallon Spill Kit

Packed into a portable five-gallon bucket, this convenient Spill Kit from SpillTech can be stored near leak-prone areas in industrial settings or on commercial trucks for freight operations. The overpack container is filled with pads and socks to quickly contain a wide variety of spills. Not only stored in a five-gallon container, this kit can also absorb nearly five gallons of liquids. The container is DOT-approved, and the integrated torque handle on top of the lid improves handling and accelerates quick response.

Once deployed, the bucket itself becomes a collection point for soiled materials. The screwtop lid secures the contaminated contents, and six tamper-proof seals identify what s inside. Available in three varieties, each bucket includes disposable bags, goggles and gloves for personal protection.

The Oil Only kit includes 10 heavyweight Defender pads and two 4' sorbent socks. White identifies oil-only absorbents as they are designed to repel water. This kit can collect small amounts of oil, fuel and other petroleum-based fluids.

The Universal kit offers the same contents as the Oil Only kit, but the absorbent material is gray, denoting its universal properties. This kit can tackle annoying spills and leaks of oils, coolants, water and solvents found on the road or inside the plant.

As its name implies, the Hazmat kit can tackle nearly any type of smaller caustic, hazardous or unknown spill. This includes acids, bases, solvents and chemicals. The yellow color and markings alerts others to the hazardous nature of the kit and its contents.
