This Woodruff Key is semicircular in shape and when it's installed it leaves a
protruding bell end. They are used to improve the concentricity of the shaft
and the mating part, which is critical for high speed operation. The main
advantage to these keys is that they eliminate milling near the shaft
shoulders.
