This alloy hook can be used with both wire rope and chain. The positive lock latch is self lock when the hook is loaded. This positive locking feature is a big improvement over conventional safety latches.

Forged alloy steel - quenched and tempered
Clevis style rated for both wire rope and grade 80/100 chain
Can be used for personal lifting applications, if properly installed and locked
Thimble should be used with wire rope slings
