Encased in a durable plastic housing, the retractable tensioner is mounted to the back of the semi cab with an engineered EZ Claw bracket. The cable end is attached to the tractor s hose assembly with a sling and snap clip. The system allows for 84 inches of overall line travel, more than enough to accommodate any 90-degree maneuver.

Each tensioner features an internal recoil mechanism. As the semi completes a turn or backs into a dock, the tensioner takes up the slack, similar to the recoil on any small engine. The listed weight rating is how much the cable can support. A 30 lb. tensioner will easily handle most wrapped air hoses, electrical cords and glad hands. The cable is made from aircraft-grade, stainless steel and will not rust and break like a typical factory-installed spring sliding on a cab s towel bar.
