EZ Claw Extendable Cable Tieback 15k Winch

Upgrade your Century 1135 and 1140 rotator with the EZ Claw Extendable Cable Tie-Back, the professional’s choice to control your auxiliary winch hook and eliminate winch line birdnesting on the drum. Designed for Miller rotators with 15,000-lb auxiliary winches, this retractable system delivers 80 lbs. of combined line support and automatic tensioning as the boom extends or retracts.

During spooling at the recovery scene, the tandem 40-lb. Line Saver tensioners lower the hook to a comfortable working height, bringing it within reach to the operator on the ground. This accessibility reduces climbing onto the deck and prevents unnecessary injuries from falls or slips. With the right amount of give, this system also prevents the operator from damaging the winch line and tie-back by inadvertently pulling on the wrong lever.

While on the road, this setup also ensures the hook is secured and eliminates line nesting on the drum during transit. Please note a tie-back is required for each side of the boom. Installation requires one bolt to attach the bracket to the winch drum support. Each bracket is built for durability, and the entire system outperforms factory spring tie-backs that lose strength over time due to operator error.

Both extendable tie-backs are available in a full kit that includes the tandem tensioners for both sides of the mast. Each kit includes mounting brackets, carabiners and Connect clips—everything you need for fast installation.
