Like the original GUNI Wheel, the GUNI Wheel X is also a temporary wheel replacement system, but what sets it apart is its ability to swap out center hubs and thereby reduce the need to carry and store additional sets and sizes of wheels.

While the hub inserts are plenty impressive on their own, GUNI engineers didn’t stop there. They also built in a feature that will allow the GUNI Wheel X to serve as a free-spinning wheel. By removing the four locking bolts on the outer ring, the GUNI Wheel X can be converted to a spinner to move vehicles with locked transmissions, seized brakes and dead batteries, including EVs. The best part is the wheel doesn't need to be dismounted to complete this static conversion.

GUNI Wheel X hubs are available in four, color-coded bolt patterns. GUNI Wheel X45 is orange for 4 & 5 lug bolt patterns. GUNIX Wheel X56 is red for 5 & 6 lug bolt patterns. GUNI Wheel X60 is blue for select GM-branded mid-size SUVs and pickups. GUNI Wheel X80 is black for 8 lug bolt patterns. The hubs are attached to the outer rim by eight sets of 8mm studs and nuts. The overall height of the GUNI Wheel X is 24", and each hub measures 13.9" in diameter.

The inserts were designed with a deep offset to accommodate larger, aftermarket brake calipers. The lug holes are slotted for adjustability, and each carbon-steel wheel can support up to 3,500 lbs. The GUNI Wheel X assembly and hubs are powder-coated for corrosion resistance and will hold up to extended use. The entire wheel rides on an airless, molded polyurethane rubber tread rated to 5 mph.
