Midtronics xIM-100 EV Immobilizer Kit

The Midtronics xIM-100 EV Immobilizer Kit gives tow operators, roadside professionals, collision repair technicians and first responders a simple way to help prevent unintended vehicle movement when working with electric and hybrid vehicles. By connecting to the vehicle’s charging port, the xIM-100 activates the vehicle’s existing charging interlock to immobilize the vehicle without requiring direct access to high-voltage components.

Designed with the challenges of roadside recovery in mind, the xIM-100 features easy-to-read LED indicators that provide clear confirmation of immobilization status. An integrated pry bar helps operators access charging ports that may be damaged, obstructed or difficult to open following an accident. The tool is compatible with J1772/Type 1 and NACS charging ports, with a Type 2/Mennekes version also available.

Built for demanding professional use, the xIM-100 features a rugged, IP67-rated housing designed to withstand harsh working environments.
