Description

This Hex Cap Screw is used in the boom assembly of Century and Challenger wreckers, as well as the wheel lift assembly of Vulcan 810 Intruder wreckers. Please see the brochure tab for a list of breakdowns. These screws are designed for easy assembly into a tapped hole. Hex Cap Screws meet SAE specifications with a specially designed washer face under the head and a chamfered point. This screw is grade 8, which has a greater tensile strength than grade 5. Designed for use in high-strength and high-stress applications, the minimum tensile strength is 150,000 psi for 1/4-1-1/2".
