SpillTech Forklift Spill Kit

This compact spill kit from SpillTech is designed to fit on a forklift so it's readily accessible the next time a fork punctures a container or knocks over a 55-gallon drum. Available in three varieties, this forklift kit can be used in many other applications, but its handy size is ideal for material-handling operations. The vinyl black duffle bag keeps absorbent pads and socks dry, clean and conveniently within reach. Measuring 10" in diameter and 22"L, the bag features hook and loop straps so it can be attached out of the way behind the operator's seat or on the forklift's cage frame.

Each kit can absorb more than nine gallons of liquids and includes disposable bags, goggles and gloves for personal protection. Green accent stripes contrast against the black exterior to make the kit highly visible in emergency situations.

The Oil Only kit includes 20 heavyweight Defender pads and three 4' sorbent socks. White identifies oil-only absorbents as they are designed to repel water. This kit can collect small amounts of oil, fuel and other petroleum-based fluids.

The Universal kit offers the same contents as the Oil Only kit, but the absorbent material is gray, denoting its universal properties. This kit can tackle annoying spills and leaks of oils, coolants, water and solvents that forklift drivers can encounter.

As its name implies, the Hazmat kit can tackle nearly any type of smaller caustic, hazardous or unknown spill. This includes acids, bases, solvents and chemicals. The yellow color and markings alerts others to the hazardous nature of the kit and its contents.
