Spring Latches keep tailgates and doors closed. Spring-loaded steel bolts lock in the open position and close under spring pressure by turning the handle. This is a 5/8" weld on spring latch assembly in a heat-treated steel tube. It measures 2.53" x 4.68" with a .62" bolt width.
