TowMate Adapta-Box Universal Trailer Wiring Connection

Always have the right lighting connection for the trailer you are pulling or towing with your wrecker or car carrier. New from TowMate, the Adapta-Box offers four popular trailer wiring receptacles, so you can use the trailer’s factory marker lights and stop/tail/turn signals while moving through traffic.

Designed to work with your existing TowMate transmitter, this universal unit offers the following female plugs: 6-pin round, 4-pin flat, 7-pin round and 7-pin RV. The box operates on DeWalt Max20V or Milwaukee M18 batteries and is compatible with either TowMate’s 'Red Antenna Series' or ‘Green Antenna Series’ transmitter for wireless operation. The durable box is backed by a lifetime warranty on electronics.

To operate, the trailer’s wiring harness plugs into the Adapta-Box, which then communicates with the wrecker’s transmitter. This converter comes in extremely handy when tow operators are hauling trailers that have plugs that are not compatible with their tow truck, providing a tremendous amount of flexibility and eliminating the need for additional power units at an accident or recovery scene.

The adapter is mounted to the trailer with two rubber-coated magnets. Each magnet offers a pulling force of 100 lbs., so the adapter will remain firmly in place as you head down the road. The rubber feet protect the mounting surface from unnecessary scratches, and the weather-resistant housing can withstand extreme conditions and road spray, making this adapter a reliable upgrade in any towing scenario.
