Heavy-duty tow operators can save a step when towing semi-truck & trailers with a 7-pin round electrical plug with the new TBOX-M18 from TowMate. This wireless receiver connects directly into the trailer's 7-pin round plug and allows any TowMate heavy-duty wireless transmitter to communicate with the receiver and activate the trailer's lights, eliminating the need to hang a temporary tow light on the rear of the trailer.
Featuring a molded 7-pin round plug, the TBOX is powered exclusively by a rechargeable Milwaukee 8-amp M18 battery. The receiver is compatible with TowMate's red antenna technology, and once paired with the transmitter, the receiver syncs with the wrecker's signals and controls the trailer's stop, tail and turn lights. This does not operate the trailers clearance lights.
The robust housing is made from rugged nylon material and features a tough, weather-resistant coating. Built-in safeguards prevent electrical failure, and the encased electronics are protected by a lifetime warranty. Fully charged, the battery life provides enough run time to tow the trailer or tractor-trailer combination to its final destination for service or repower. Please note the battery, charger and transmitter are purchased separately.
This wireless control system improves operator efficiency and enhances safety for heavy-duty operators, especially when towing a trailer in low-light conditions. Using the trailer's existing lighting increases its visibility to other motorists. This receiver is compatible with a wide range of trailers and TowMate tow lights.
