Air Valves

The Quick Exhaust Valve (QEV) is used on the Valve-Mate II air systems to help release the air actuator faster. This is most commonly used on the "in" function of a remote winch control so the winch stops instantly when the remote button is released.

The Pressure Protection Valve is required by the DOT as a safety precaution. Should a leak develop in the supply line that feeds the remote system, the PPV maintains pressure in the chassis air supply tank.
