Miller Dual Fork Receiver Set

Miller Industries newly redesigned and field-tested dual fork receiver set offers heavy-duty tow operators the advantage of four fork positions on their crossbars, allowing them to achieve the desired clearance and weight distribution on their underlifts during front-pick tows.

Besides the normal operating position with the holes facing the casualty, this low-profile, steel-casted fork holder can also be rotated 180 degrees to keep the fork holes closer to the tailboard or inverted in either position to get additional fork height under the chassis.

By placing the holes nearer to the back of the two truck, the operator can keep as much as 1,500 lbs. off the wrecker, according to Miller. Preventing excess overhang, this weight distribution is critical, given the rating for front axles on some Class 8 vehicles can reach as high as 24,000 lbs.

The convenience of flipping the fork holder over to the high-profile setting adds 2-1/2" of fork height and eliminates the need for the operator to retrieve a taller fork from the storage rack, thus saving time on the road and expediting the recovery process for the customer and authorities.

Painted safety yellow, each fork holder slides over either end of a 5" x 5"crossmember and is held in place with a safety pin and T-bolt. Besides holes for two different fork sizes, the holder includes two additional slots for axle tie-down chains and two grab hooks to secure the excess chain tail.

Compatible with all Miller fork sets, this fork receiver set can trace its roots to the first welded holder in 1986. After modifications in the field, the first low-profile design was introduced in 1990, and the first casted holder was unveiled in 1995.

Introduced in 2021, this latest version of the Milller fork receiver set accommodates two sizes of fork attachments, and the two chain slots allow the front axle to be secured directly above, preventing flexing or stretching during transport.
