Description

Ancra's 2-in. low-profile torque-limiting ratchet buckle is engineered to solve the problem of over tensioned straps. When a tie-down strap is over tensioned, it runs the risk of snapping, which could be dangerous for both the operator, the cargo, and other drivers out on the road. To help prevent the strap from getting over tensioned, this ratchet buckle is designed to limit the tensioning. The buckle is engineered with a working load limit of 1,500 lbs., and a locking latch engages when the handle is closed, adding an extra level of security along with the torque limiting feature.
