This 7" replacement spring fits the Zip's Tie-Back Tube for Vulcan V24 and Century 312 12-ton wreckers. This spring plays a vital role in protecting the winch and winch line and preventing equipment damage in case the wrong lever is mistakenly pulled. By design, this internal spring fits inside the tie-back tube and provides adequate slack or cushion. When installed correctly, the spring should also give ample audible warning to alert the tow operator to stop the winch operation.
