Parts & Service Warranty Policy

We want to take this time to remind our service customers that payment for any service work completed is due at the time of service.  We also wanted to remind our parts and equipment customers that payment in full is required when picking up your purchase or before it will be shipped.

For potential warranty part replacement, all defective items must be returned, so the part can be submitted to the manufacturer for a warranty claim to be considered.  Payment is required until the defective item is returned upon which we will be happy to credit your account.  To be considered for warranty, items must be returned within 30 days of failure.  All warranty claims will be submitted to the original manufacturer who will have the final decision on the claim.  Once the part is physically returned to Zip’s or the original manufacturer for inspection and the manufacturer has approved the warranty, your account will be credited.  As most manufacturers do not pay for labor, Zip’s will make necessary repairs or replacements of only pre-approved warranty items at a discounted rate.

If you have service work completed at Zip’s, someone from our service team will call to inform you of the work performed on your vehicle and the amount due.  Please notify the service advisor on how you will be paying for your service work at this time.  We accept cash, checks or Visa/Master Card/Discover/American Express.  If you pay by credit card, we will gladly take your credit card information over the phone.  For your security, we will not keep your credit card information on file.  Once your credit card payment has been accepted, your account information will be destroyed.  If you currently have an outstanding balance with us, please make a payment immediately, as we will expect your account to be current before performing further work.
