Description

A 55-gallon drum of automotive coolant pierced by a forklift driver. A 150-gallon tank of diesel fuel punctured in an accident. Both would leak for a long time if immediate action wasn't taken to plug the compromised containers.

SpillTech's wooden plugs offer that temporary remedy with a variety of shapes and sizes to fill the hole and slow the leak until the tank or drum can be pumped empty. Made from soft wood, these pre-shaped pegs and wedges also expand when wet to help dike the leak.

Available in small or large kits, the conical plugs range in diameter from 1/2" to 1-3/4", and the wedges measure 2"W x 5"L. Besides tanks and drums, these wooden plugs also provide leak-stop solutions for hoses, valves and fuel lines. Combine them with absorbent pads and capture any persistent drips until help arrives.
