It also has a tighter distance between the forks to grab the axle. The extra width reduces side-to-side movement and will fit most heavy steer axles.

The 124002634 Lift Eye Attachment is designed for front lifts on many models of the RTS, GMC, and NOVA buses and rear picks on the MCI-9. The rear eye on an MCI ,GL, and GL3 series can be utilized for a rear pick. The eyelet that is bolted on to the jack pad point on many RTS, GMC, and NOVA buses is pinned into the lift eye attachment for a front pick.
