Ratchet Buckles

For the really heavy-duty tough tie-down jobs, Ancra offers our durable and industrial strength 4-in. ratchet buckle to help you get the job done right. This buckle is engineered with a working load limit of 8,000 lbs., giving it the strength you need to easily take on those tougher securement jobs. Tightening the 4-in. webbing is quick and easy, and once the webbing is tight, the locking latch engages when the handle is closed, keeping the strap tight. The buckle s handle offers a more comfortable grip for easier handling while the handle cross pin interlocks with the frame to maintain the low-profile design.

Replacement for AI-48987-20 and AI-48987-21. Used with standard 3" ratchet strap assemblies.

Long-handled ratchets from Zip s provide additional leverage and enhanced ergonomics when strapping down freight on flatbed trailers, rollbacks and car haulers. To improve handling and minimize slippage, the molded rubber comfort grip includes grooves on both the handle and the release mechanism. The forged finger hook provides flexible tie-down options and can be replaced as needed by removing the nut and bolt. Each steel-plated ratchet assembly accepts 2"W webbing and is labeled and stamped with its Working Load Limit (WLL) of 2,200 lbs. The double-locking system keeps straps tight.

Ancra s 2-in. low-profile torque-limiting ratchet buckle is engineered to solve the problem of overtensioned straps. When a tie-down strap is overtensioned, it runs the risk of snapping, which could be dangerous for both the operator, the cargo, and other drivers out on the road. To help prevent the strap from getting overtensioned, this ratchet buckle is designed to limit the tensioning. The buckle is engineered with a working load limit of 1,500 lbs., and a locking latch engages when the handle is closed, adding an extra level of security along with the torque limiting feature.

Ancra s 2-in. long wide angle torque limiting ratchet buckle is designed to prevent the operator from overtensioning the strap. An overtensioned tie-down strap can cause severe damage to the cargo and can prove to be very dangerous if it snapped. To help prevent this from happening, our innovative ratchet buckle will tighten no more than 300 pounds of tension. It offers enough force to secure the load but not enough to cause damage. Once proper tension is reached, the long wide handle releases and no more tension can be applied.
