When you need a strong shackle, you can rely on the Crosby 12-Piece Heavy Duty Shackle Kit. Not only are the shackles and links in this kit all drop forged. They also have a very high working load limit.

Grade 100 self-locking hooks from Zip?s automatically close and will not open under a load. Approved for overhead lifting, each hook includes an eye loop for attachment to the chain with a coupling link. They are available in five capacities with the grade stamped on the side of each hook. The Wrinkle Lock is used in conjunction with the WreckMaster Wrinkle, the lock secures the Wrinkle to the trailer pin in a manner similar to that of the 5th wheel on a tractor. Properly installed, the Wrinkle Lock makes it virtually impossible for a disconnect to occur from the trailer pin when a towing procedure is used. The Wrinkle and Wrinkle Lock are equally secure and works extremely well when a horizontal or vertical trailer recovery procedure is used. Wrinkle not included.

The ½" unit is able to handle a Working Load Limit of 26,000 lbs. at 60 degrees with a 2 Leg Sling. The 5/8” unit is able to handle a Working Load Limit of 39,100 lbs. at 60 degrees with a 2 Leg Sling. The master link allows for easier installation. The two shortening hooks allow you to quickly and effectively adjust the chain sling without affecting the working load limit.

This Eye & Eye Round Sling from SafeAll is made from high-tensile polyester fiber offering a safety factory of 5:1, meaning the Minimum Break Strength is rated five times greater than its Working Load Limit (WLL). This built-in strength protects against load shock and increases safety for the user.

These Van Beest Shackle Kits might be a steal of a deal on the price but they aren't on the quality. These kits include 10 drop forged shackles and 2 alloy master links. The shackles are screw pin style and there are 3 sizes included: 1", 1-1/4", and 1-1/2".
