Spill Containment & Absorbents

This compact spill kit from SpillTech is designed to fit on a forklift so it's readily accessible the next time a fork punctures a container or knocks over a 55-gallon drum. Available in three varieties, this forklift kit can be used in many other applications, but its handy size is ideal for material-handling operations. The vinyl black duffle bag keeps absorbent pads and socks dry, clean and conveniently within reach. Measuring 10" in diameter and 22"L, the bag features hook and loop straps so it can be attached out of the way behind the operator's seat or on the forklift's cage frame.

Forget about heavy bags of floor dry. Hang SpillTech's convenient Drip, Rip and Go Pads next to your workstation so you can quickly respond to any spill, whether it s a coolant leak, hydraulic oil or cutting oil. Just tear the perforated pads from the tablet and let their wicking properties go to work. Capable of absorbing a number of chemicals and fluids, these three-ply dimpled gray pads are lighter and cleaner to use than floor dry and do not generate additional dust and dirt, which may contaminate sensitive tools and machines. Sold in packages of nine dispensers, each wall tablet contains 20 perforated pads measuring 15"W x 19"L. Each mat can be easily ripped in half lengthwise if the spill or cleanup does not require a full sheet. Each pad features Meltblown polypropylene sandwiched between two layers of FineFiber material.

UltraTech s Ultra-Utility Trays are engineered with heavy-duty polyethylene (LLDPE) and designed to contain liquid spilled or leaked from containers. A ribbed platform on the bottom of the tray helps keep cans, pails and other containers out of smaller spills.

The first spill containment products for drums were very tall in order to meet the required gallon capacity specified by the EPA regulations. Many pallets today are still relatively tall (approx. 12-14" for 4-drum models and approx. 16-17" for 2-drum models). In many situations and applications, this height is not an issue. If drums are loaded and rarely used or simply stored on these spill pallets until they are needed, it s really not a big deal.

The Ultra-Containment Berm - Foam Wall Model provides containment for smaller spills, leaks, and drips. The 4" high sidewalls may mean a lesser capacity than its 12" high counterparts but it also means versatility and convenience. The foam wall model has true drive-in and drive-out capability and requires no setup other than the initial deployment.

The Ultra-Spill Pallet is specially constructed to support heavy loads and designed to be easily used and transported. Its 100% polyethylene (LLDPE) construction makes it compatible with a wide range of chemicals, while its low-rise walls allow easier accessibility for pouring. It helps meet spill containment regulations for up to four drums, and comply with SPCC and EPA spill containment requirements.
