Description

This heavy-duty chain tie-down kit from Miller Industries works with Miller's newly redesigned dual-hole fork receiver kit for heavy-duty tow operations. The kit includes one (1) T-handle ratchet binder with grab hooks and two (2) Grade 70 chain sections with a pear link at each end.

The tie-down kit secures the 5" x 5" fork holder and underreach to the front axle on a front pick. Each chain is looped around the casualty's axle spring pack, and the chain tail is then brought back through the pear link and through the nearest slot on the fork holder.

The chain slack is then secured to the grab hooks on the back side of the holder, and the chain binder tightens the two sections of chain together to secure the axle and prevent lateral movement and flexing between the two fork holders.
