The Armor Angle from SafeAll is a new poly corner protector for use when uplifting semi trailers. The hard 90-degree plate protects recovery straps from sharp and jagged edges and adds structural integrity to compromised trailer roofs. Each piece includes five holes, three for handling and two circular options to connect bungee cords to hold the strap in place.
These thick poly angles are available in two lengths: 47" and 72". The shorter piece is designed for trailer recoveries and is long enough to span multiple uprights on the trailer. The longer option is for use with air lifting bags and is intended to protect the surface of the bags from cuts, punctures and abrasions.
Each poly angle is 3/4" thick and is machine welded for extreme durability and strength. Proven in the field, they can bend past 90 degrees on a recovery job and then return to their original shape when no longer under stress. This tremendous flexibility allows these angles to be used on severely damaged trailers and add much-needed support to the trailer walls and roofs.
Substantially wider and lighter than traditional angle iron, the sides of each poly angle measure 12" and 7-1/2". Unlike metal alternatives, this increased surface area allows the poly angles to disperse the load. The holes and edges are also rounded to prevent snags and ensure safe handling.
Made from dense, weather-resistant materials, these poly angles won’t rust and will hold up to challenging conditions in any environment. They can withstand the demands of any heavy-duty recovery, protecting straps from unnecessary damage and overcoming structural issues on the casualty.
Purchase the 72" option individually or as a pair. The 47” length is available individually, as a pair or set of four. Order what you need from the drop-down menu.
