The multiple charge rates allow batteries to be slow charged or fast charged at a rate not to exceed 110 amps output of the charger. The output leads are terminated in ring terminals and designed to be permanently attached to the Associated 6086 Parallel Battery Charging Rack, the Associated 6075 Parallel Bus Bar Kit, the Associated 6075CB Parallel Bus Bar Kit or the Associated 6075S Smart Parallel Bus Bar Kit. This unit is not intended as a car starting unit.

The 6044 Associated Battery & Electrical System Tester is an automated battery testing unit that uses no dirty, maintenance-prone carbon piles. Just enter the discharge current, press the ?start? button and the 6044 will perform the BCI battery test automatically, giving the most accurate means of testing a battery. Testing for the alternator and starter has also been automated, simplifying the use of this very versatile electrical tester. The 6044 also comes with external voltage leads which can be used to record the maximum and minimum voltage readings allowing for easy testing of electrical systems (including testing differential voltages). The unit also comes with a detachable inductive pickup (6043) which can be used to read current throughout the electrical system. The tester will also record the minimum and maximum current values turning many two person operations into a single, individual job.

The Volt meter displays voltages to ?99.9 volts DC on the EXT position and up to 35.0 volts DC on the INT position. The AMP meter displays DC currents up to 999 amps and reads both + and - amps for easy diagnosis of leakage current problems. The input impedance of the meters is 10 Meg ohms for ac curate testing of solid state circuits. The carbon pile is rated 500 amps on 12 volt batteries for load testing batteries up to 1000 CCA capacity. Curved carbon discs allow better low end resolution of current and longer life. Amps Zero Adjust allows for maximum a ccuracy in AMPS reading. "Load On" light indicates the carbon pile is actuated and serves as a reminder to turn the load off. Defect ive Diode indicator light lets you know when alternator output diodes or GM diode trios have failed. The electronic circuits are pro tected by a fuse against excessive voltage inputs and reverse voltages caused by connecting leads incorrectly that may damage the un it. The electronic circuit board has a protective coating to prevent damage and meter inaccuracy due to moisture and dirt. 6038C Two Wheeled Cart & 6043 AC/DC Current Sensing Inductive pickup are included with the 6042

DC-AC Power Invertor. Plugs into 12 volt cigarette lighter and gives you (1) 110 volt AC plug-in and (1) 12 volt DC plug-in.
